Timeline of the Internet

I and my new pals Logan Mercer and Andrew Masterson put together this Timeline of the Internet for our first class assignment. We focused in on the interesting events, of course. The final couple slides lead into my ultimate prediction for the Inernet going forward. The final viral video we linked, unlike 2000's viral media, was created by a professional television crew. Big businesses and big money finally grasp the importance of online media, and the influence of their capital is already pushing smaller creators out of the public eye. (YouTube's new creator rules, anyone?)
